Tried and tested. Lean, agile and beyond.

Man of his words

I was born in Punkaharju, Finland in 1979. I currently live with my wife and two children in Kuopio, Finland.

I received my Master of Arts degree from University of Jyväskylä, Finland in 2005. My major was English language and my minors included journalism as well as PR and communications studies.

I have been a full-time freelancer since late 2004, and running my own company since spring 2005. Before that, I worked as a translator and translation coordinator at Lingsoft in Turku, Finland. Currently I am a full-time professional translator, as well as a freelance journalist and photographer.

I translate from English to Finnish, and vice versa. I’m specialized in technical translations, but I have vast experience in handling other material types as well. If needed, I can also contact my network of collaborators.

I worked in wood processing industry from 1994 until 2002 under part-time and full-time contracts. In 2001 I lived and worked in Wisconsin, United States.

As a sole proprietor, I am the face of the company. I take pride in delivering even the smallest of tasks on time, offering the highest quality possible.

Sometimes projects require specialist knowledge, or several language pairs. No problem. I can set up a team of professionals, be it chemistry, law, patents in English, Russian, German, French, Swedish or other languages.

I’m happy to provide you with my full CV and list of references – all you need to do is drop me a line.
